“Sora relies on landing his 1st Skill to get Cloudstep stacks. Heroes with high mobility or Knockbacks, like Fanny, Arlott, and Valir, can prevent Sora from gaining this precious resource.”

Avoid these picks — the data says you lose
“Sora excels at diving in with explosive burst damage and AOE CC, so squishy heroes without escape abilities—like Layla, Miya, and Hanabi—will find themselves helpless against Sora's relentless assault.”

Who wins the matchup, and when
Source: mobilelegends.comRanked pairings, past 7 days
Change in Sora's win rate (in percentage points) when that hero is on the opposing team or on Sora's own team, across all ranks. Based on the official ranked statistics; heroes with very few games can swing a lot, and a counter at one rank can disappear at another.
Read the points as wins per 100 games: +3.0 means Sora wins about 3 more games out of every 100 with that hero than Sora usually wins, and −3.0 means about 3 fewer. Hover a number for the exact wording.
The small bars show Sora's win rate in that matchup by game length, from 10-12 minutes (left) to 20+ (right), green above 50% and red below; the two numbers are the first and the last. “3/5 ranks” counts the rank brackets where the hero is on the same list. The official data gives no game counts, so a bar from a rare matchup can be noise, and games under 10 minutes are left out because they swing the most.

What to prepare for against Sora
Worked out from the official skill tags and ratings and our tracked builds.
- Sora mostly deals physical damage, judging by the items in their tracked builds. Physical defense and the physical protections in the burst guide are the ones that apply. How to survive burst damage →
- Sora's official speciality lists Burst. Damage can arrive in a few seconds, so see the burst guide for what blunts it.How to survive burst damage →
What this does not know
- This says what to look out for. It does not claim that any item wins the matchup.
- Skill tags are the game's short labels; the skills themselves are not read in detail, so a hero can do more than their tags show.
- Damage type is a guess from the items in tracked builds, and a hero with no tracked build falls back to their class.
