/// LANE.GOLD
🏹 Gold lane: best heroes right now
The damage carry's lane, shared with a roamer early on.
What the lane does
- Farm steadily: gold from this lane is what lets a marksman reach their full item build.
- Stay alive in fights. A dead carry deals no damage, so position behind your frontline and respect enemy assassins.
- Take turrets and objectives when the enemy is busy, and deal the team's sustained damage in the late game.
Usually played by: Marksman.

What this does not know
- The official rank data gives one win rate per hero, not one per lane, so a hero's number here is its overall result, even if it is played in several lanes.
- A high win rate often comes from a hero being easy to play or from being picked into good matchups. It does not mean the hero wins every draft.
- Pro picks reflect tournament drafts, with coordinated teams and bans. They do not carry over directly to solo queue.
